Pilgrims Celebrate Outdoor Dawn Mass Instead of Basilica Liturgy at Covadonga: At dawn today, pilgrims of the sixth Our Lady of Christendom Pilgrimage in Spain celebrated a traditional outdoor Mass at their campsite in Sevares, Asturias. The Mass was not allowed in the Basilica of Covadonga. After Mass, the pilgrims continued on foot to Covadonga, where they concluded with prayer and the singing of the Te Deum before the Blessed Sacrament. The three-day pilgrimage, held from 25–27 July, covered nearly 100 kilometers from Oviedo to Covadonga and drew more than 1,700 participants.

No one can say Putin is owned by anyone.

First video was recently said. Once again he is letting everyone know. The advancement of troops will go his way. Not rushed.
With all the pressure he gets from everyone, he will not budge. His first priority is to save lives. This man is brilliant and he is very humble. Such a difference between him and trump. Both video's are English voice over.

When he was in the KGB he found that they were planning a coup to replace the President. He said, oh! no, that's not for me. He said, anyone that the people voted for he will not have a thing to do with replacing. He will accept the people's choice. He left and went into politics and he turned to Orthodoxy.

2 Thessalonians 2:
10 And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: 11 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.
12 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth: 13 Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
14 Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. 15 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God and our Father, who hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation, and good hope in grace, 16 Exhort your hearts, and confirm you in every good work and word.

Bishop Defends Nude 🌈 Photo Shoot Outside Cathedral

Around 500 nude volunteers gathered outside the Cathedral of Santa Ana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, on Sunday for a photographic installation by American artist Spencer Tunick as part of the Culture & Business Pride festival.
Participants, painted in the rainbow colors, posed in front of the cathedral on the feast of St. Anne, the city's patron saint.
The project was planned in advance as an official festival event, with backing from local tourism and government bodies. Organizers said the artwork celebrated diversity and homosexuality.
According to El País, the local bishop, Monsignor José Mazuelos, said he did not object to the nude performance in front of his cathedral: "I have no problem. When we go to the beach, we see naked bodies, don't we?" His complaint was instead about access restrictions that temporarily delayed clergy and parishioners attending the 10 a.m. Eucharist.
He also described the event as "marketing for the city," adding he supported it insofar as it promoted …More

Architecture is very good - but too stark for a Cathedral, more appropriate for a Cistercian monastery. Needs COLOR and devotional art to uplift the faithful.

Agree-Disagree

– Folha de S. Paulo, January 8, 1983 –
by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira
In the December 26 issue of Folha de S. Paulo, a particular news item gave me a sense of delight that was both exquisite and rare.
In fact, I found myself agreeing with the views of some of the country’s most prominent church figures regarding the legalization of the Communist Party: Cardinals Aloísio Lorscheider and Eugênio Sales; CNBB president Ivo Lorscheiter, and the new archbishop of Porto Alegre, Cláudio Colling.
That same report also once again demonstrated the consistency of my archbishop, Cardinal Paulo Evaristo Arns. Today, consistency is such a rare quality that it becomes all the more admirable when observed. One can see in Cardinal Arns’ consistency the influence of his serious university studies in Rome and Paris.
But this life is a valley of tears, as St. Bernard of Clairvaux once said. So, it’s no surprise that there’s another side to all this.

Abp. Viganò: ‘Celibate gay priests’ pushed by James Martin 'offends sanctity' of priesthood - LifeSite

Mon Jul 27, 2026 - 10:47 am EDT Editor’s note: This was originally published on Archbishop Viganò’s X account. Automatically translated from the Italian. (LifeSiteNews) — James Martin’s raving proposal is not a provocative jest, but the final step in a long series aimed at legitimizing sodomy not only among the laity, but even among the Clergy. It constitutes a blatant and intolerable contradiction with the perennial doctrine of Holy Mother Church, with Sacred Scripture that unambiguously condemns homosexual acts as an abomination against nature (cf. Leviticus 18:22; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10), and with the Magisterium. The argument put forward by James Martin—”the presence of many holy and healthy celibate gay priests”—is a deceptive sophism and a lie: holiness, when it is authentic, combats disordered tendencies with sacramental grace and asceticism, in horror at offending God with detestable sins. but, if you remain faithful to the little I have taught you, you will acquire a great richness of grace that will surprise you and fill you with delight.

Let us set to work, then, dear soul, through perseverance in the living of this devotion, in order that Mary's soul may glorify the Lord in us and her spirit be within us to rejoice in God her Saviour. Saint John Vianney, the cure of Ars, had a profound and famous devotion to St. Philomena, attributing all his miraculous healings and the conversion of his parish to her intercession. ~ He famously stated, "I have never asked for anything through the intercession of my Little Saint without having been answered".
Note: The Litany of St. Philomena was composed by St. John Vianney. He also built a majestic chapel and erected an altar dedicated to St. Philomena in Ars, France. ~ Pope Pius XI by a brief of April 23rd, 1929, made the cure of Ars "Patron of all parish priests in the world". ~ St. John Vianney, Pray for us!

Vatican Opens Synod Evaluation to Other Religions

The Vatican has published new guidelines today, "Recollecting: Accompanying the Preparation of the Local Church's Evaluation Assembly," for the next stage of the Synod on Synodality.
Every diocese is required to hold evaluation assemblies during the first half of 2027 to assess how the Synod's Final Document has been implemented.
Bishops will lead the evaluation, establish or reactivate synodal teams, and approve a six- to eight-page narrative report to be submitted to Rome.
They are also instructed to describe "transformations in decision-making processes, and reforms of structures" as part of their narrative report.
Interreligious synodality
Each diocese will also hold an evaluation assembly using the method of "conversation in the Spirit."
The guidelines state that dioceses should consider inviting "representatives of other Christian Churches and communities or other religions as observers."
