At an altitude of 2,580 metres (8,500 feet) and located inside a towering sandstone spire the Abuna Yemata Guh church has to be the hardest and most dangerous church to reach. The church is in the Gheralta Mountains of Tigray in northern Ethiopia. A huge vertical sandstone structure shoots straight up 2,580 metres and like a miracle inside that rock one finds a Christian church. No doubt the hardest to access on the planet. The church takes its name from one of the nine saints who came to Ethiopia from Rome, Constantinople and Syria during the 5th and 6th centuries. The saints came to the region as missionaries to bring Christianity. They were also responsible for building monasteries and translated the Bible into Ge'ez, the old language of Ethiopia. Abuna Yemata Guh is one of the oldest churches in Ethiopia, and its founder worked to help carve the church into what is the highest sandstone spire in the area. The Church has beautiful mural paintings on its walls, domes and columns that …

What an honor- “The Democratic Coalition of Satan worshippers thanks Governor Tim Walz for not standing in the way of spreading Satanism in the State Capitol building. Satan has a special place for you.”
This is the unsanitized history of Canada the woke political class, the MSM and Indigenous peoples now profiting from “truth and reconciliation” want us to forget. The intergenerational trauma all came from colonialism, the missionaries and white dominance.
Do you know that Western Nations have experienced fertility levels below the replacement level for many DECADES. This is not just France. This is not news.
Normally, I endorse everything Archbishop Vigano says but I'm having a problem with this message, specifically this: "receiving the Sacraments frequently, assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass." The Archbishop should realize that, although good advice, it isn't very easy to accomplish any more. Great numbers of Churches that were offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass have now discontinued it. I live in a fairly large city and there is only ONE "shrine" where one can attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the whole city. And it is in a high crime area. I don't feel safe going there. Many people must drive for many miles to find a Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and for many, this is prohibitive. Of course, this includes receiving the other Sacraments. True Catholics are like sheep without a shepherd and many feel alone and abandoned. The Archbishop needs to recognize this and not offer impractical advice.
In Yiwu, Zhejiang, participants in a sports event are indoctrinated against the “xie jiao” while cycling up the hills. by Qi Junzao The Yivu race: anti-xie-jiao propaganda is not far away. On December 14, the city of Yiwu in Zhejiang province hosted what might have been a perfectly ordinary sporting event: a cycling hill‑climb invitational. One thousand riders gathered at the scenic Shili Taohua Wu area to test their stamina on the winding Yan’kou Lake track. But in China, no public gathering is too innocent to escape the heavy hand of propaganda. Suddenly, the event was transformed into a “sports + anti-xie‑jiao extravaganza.” For readers unfamiliar with the term, “xie jiao” is often translated as “cults” or “evil cults,” but this is not accurate. It designates in China since the Middle Ages “organizations spreading heterodox teachings,” and the powers that be decide which teachings are “heterodox.” Today, it is a deliberately broad and elastic label wielded by the Chinese …
homilyat the Mass celebrated at Martyr's Shrine, in Midland, Ontario, that has much to tell about truth and reconciliation in Canada with the Indigenous Peoples. We cannot forget the sacrifices made by the missionaries to evangelize. We must no interpret the past from a woke view. We cannot have truth and reconciliation without truth. The pope's words speak for themselves. Saint Paul also tells us how firmly he believed in the love of Christ and in its power to overcome all obstacles: "Nothing can come between us and the love of Christ." These are words which proceed from the very depths of his being and out of his personal experience as an Apostle. For this great missionary faced many trials and difficulties in his zealous efforts to proclaim the Gospel. To the Corinthians, he writes: "I have been in danger from rivers and in danger from brigands, in danger from my own people and in danger from pagans; in danger in the towns, in danger in the open country, danger at sea and danger from …
Presently, the British Columbia Supreme Court is hearing a case as to whether a Catholic hospital can be forced to provide medical assistance in dying, MAiD. In 1995, an agreement was made between the provincial governemnt and religious based hospitals and other places of care that they could follow their faith when it comes to patient care and self-governance. However, the present court case if lost will put an end to the agreement. The plaintiff is a mother whose 34-year-old daughter suffered from cancer. She said the hospital's refusal to carry out euthanasia was similar to watching a child being beaten up on a playground and nobody would come to help. The daughter was in the hospital for a year and had to be transferred to a hospice where she was euthanized by a doctor the same day. The case is Gaye O’Neill et al. v. His Majesty the King in Right of the Province of British Columbia, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, and Providence Health Care Society. The place where the daughter …
A new report from Students for Life of America’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement has found that 114 Christian colleges and universities in the United States — more than one in seven — are supporting abortion in some way. The report found these Christian universities either backing abortion or maintaining some type of relationship with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion company. The investigation, conducted for the fourth consecutive year during the 2024-2025 academic year, examined 725 institutions affiliated with Christ-centered denominations that publicly claim a historical Christian faith in their founding. Schools from denominations embracing a pro-abortion stance, such as the Disciples of Christ, United Church of Christ, Quaker, and Moravian, were excluded. Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins emphasized the incompatibility of such ties with Christian principles. “You can’t be Christian and be pro-abortion,” Hawkins told Fox …
Saint Mathew 22:21 "Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar-and to God what belongs to God." Saint Mathew 5:37 "But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one."
Wade v roku 2022.
Canada's former conservative PM Stepehn Harper in his 2018 book Right Here, Right Now: Politics and Leadership in the Age of Disruption introduces a concept that can help us understand why Western nations have politically and culturally changed so much in recent decades and not for the better. Harper talks about the concept of the "Anywheres and Somewheres" people. This has become the huge cultural divide. On one hand, is the small and very privileged group the "Anywheres" who are the globalists, the travelling elites and the very rich. These people have more than one residence around the world. On the other hand, are the "Somewheres," people who are connected to their local communities. They have one fixed address. They are the average citizenry who carry on with traditions, family and patriotism. They feel abandoned by globalization. The Anywheres are people like Mark Carney, Justin Trudeau, Chrystia Freeland, Emmanuel Macron, Volodymyr Zelensky, Laurence Fink, Al Gore, Klaus Martin …
