French military chaplain Romain Ghandou has sparked a political storm, with a prominent left-wing politician calling for his imprisonment.
The video is from a 7 Oct 2025 Mass at Carcassonne Cathedral, before soldiers of the 3rd Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment (3e RPIMa).
“Calm down, leftists! Breathe through your nose,” Ghandou said, drawing laughter and applause. He attacked “liars,” “incompetents” and those who “lecture everyone.”
He urged soldiers to “keep fighting” and have “the courage of your convictions,” warning that otherwise France would be ridiculed and “others will take our place.”
Le Canard enchaîné publicised the footage Friday, sparking outrage on the left. Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of La France Insoumise (France Unbowed), alleged “racist insults” and said: “His place is in prison.”
Le Canard linked the sermon to the “Great Replacement,” though Ghandou does not use that phrase in the published excerpt.

« Calmez-vous » : à Carcassonne, un aumônier militaire appelle à dire aux « gauchistes » de « respirer par le nez »
La vidéo de la cérémonie a été relayée vendredi par Le Canard enchaîné et a suscité plusieurs réactions politiques.

Leo XIV-Appointed Archbishop at the UN wants to get rid of free speech.
The new Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, Archbishop Christophe El-Kassis, delivered his first address at the UN on September 17.
The Archbishop rejected “every form of intolerance, discrimination, and hate speech”. And: “Any hate speech - directed at either individuals or communities because of their religion, race, nationality, or any other characteristic - goes against the commandment to love one’s neighbor.”
He believes, it “poisons public discourse, inflames division, and too often prepares the ground for violence and persecution.”
Words that intentionally provoke hatred “cannot claim the protection of liberty.”
Leo XIV appointed Monsignor El-Kassis to the United Nations in July.

How absolutely disgusting! Who determines the 'intentionality' here?!! The sender, or, as has become more common nowadays, those who would look for offense and hatred especially where none has been given. Under such a glaringly absurd 'rule' our Lord's denunciation of the Pharisees and scribes as being "like white sepulchres..." as well as numerous other justifiable condemnations merited His 'silencing'. God help us!

CCCB documents ad absurdam. Concentrate upon transmitting the Faith as it has been evangelized for two millennia. Too many prelates shuffling papers and looking busy when the Lord beckons them to shepherd.

Fatima Keeps Rupnik Mosaic
The Marian shrine of Fátima, Portugal, does not plan to remove or cover its massive Rupnik mosaic. Last year, the Fátima shrine issued a statement saying that it would not remove the mosaic.
The Substack.com-Account The Pillar (September 18) contacted the Fátima shrine again after Rupnik’s mosaics at Lourdes were covered and “was told there is no update to the shrine’s stance.”
There is the prospect of a papal visit to Fátima next year.
Rupnik is facing a canonical trial at the Vatican over credible accusations that he sexually, spiritually, and psychologically abused numerous women. His art, with its big black eyes and characteristic asymmetry, mirrors a warped mind.
Bishop Virgílio Antunes, president of the Portuguese bishops’ conference and chairman of the National Council of the Fátima Shrine, acknowledged that “one cannot separate the artwork from the context and the circumstances in which it was created.” BUT: Neither he nor the bishops’ conference “…More

Bishop Mutsaerts says traditional movement should be known for ‘holiness, large families and vocations’, not ‘sharpness of its tweets’
[advaticanum] Dutch auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts has said that the traditional Catholic movement should be recognised by “holiness, large families, vocations” and missionary strength rather than “the sharpness of its tweets”.
In a reflection on his blog titled The Church in crisis – and how we must not save her, the auxiliary bishop of ’s-Hertogenbosch says “the traditional movement” must produce good fruit and “not exclusively by criticism”.
He also states that the Church must resist the assumption that continual adaptation necessarily constitutes reform and instead recover a clear sense of what Christ has entrusted to her.
“The crisis is serious because there is uncertainty within the Church regarding precisely those matters about which it ought to offer certainty,” Bishop Mutsaerts writes. He lists questions concerning truth, sin, marriage, priesthood …More

The Mystery of the Blood of Saint Januarius
September 19 – Memorial of Saint Januarius, Bishop and Martyr
Dear brothers and sisters, as you already know, regarding matters not directly concerning the *depositum fidei* (the deposit of faith), the Church has never officially pronounced judgment on the "miraculous" or "supernatural" nature of the events surrounding the blood of Saint Januarius in Naples.
Scientific examinations have thus far been prevented by the fact that the two ampoules are sealed with an extremely hard mastic that makes it impossible to open them without breaking the glass. However, spectrographic analysis conducted by professors from the University of Naples has demonstrated that the contents are undoubtedly blood. In any case, the very existence of this blood defies explanation: were the laws of nature to apply, the blood would have long since putrefied and turned to dust.
Indeed, as the scholar Professor Gastone Lambertini summarized after years of research: "One …More

Brazilian Catholic priest Father Márlon Múcio marked his parents’ 54th wedding anniversary with a blessing from his sickbed. Known to many as “the Living Miracle,” the priest shared a video on Instagram honoring his parents, Múcio and Carminha. He noted that they have been together for 60 years, including their years of courtship. Father Márlon lives with Riboflavin Transporter Deficiency (RTD), a rare genetic neurodegenerative disease that affects fewer than 350 people worldwide. He takes more than 300 pills a day and relies on a mechanical ventilator around the clock. Despite frequent hospitalizations and periods in intensive care, he continues to celebrate Mass, write books and lead charitable work in Brazil, including efforts supporting people with rare diseases.

Dan Dicks
Shannon Holmes is a movement therapist who used to help people with physiotherapy before she took the Covid vaccine.
After the shot her legs began tingling and vibrating and she knew something was terribly wrong.
After seeking medical help the doctor said she’s a “giant medical question mark” she was then told to just go home.
Her pain started getting worse, spreading throughout her entire body.
That evening she felt like she was being electrocuted.
The video shows how she felt like she was being uncontrollably “pulled”
She is in constant pain now, it’s been 5 years and there’s no end in sight.
The Canadian government and health authorities have done absolutely nothing to help her.
Please share her story!!
