BREAKING: Pope Leo on the SSPX consecrations — “I am considering making another appeal and saying ‘don't do this, let's try to live the communion of the Church.’ But it is their choice. We must realize what it means for them and for the Church. Certainly, the division among x.com/MLJHaynes/status/2066993646189293914/video/1
Leader:"A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning— Rachel weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more." Matthew 2:18 Response: Lord, have mercy on the children who were never held. For the infants of Bethlehem, slain by Herod’s fear:We remember their cries, silenced by power.R: Rachel, mother of sorrow, intercede for them. For the unborn lost to abortion, known only to God:We mourn their absence and the silence that surrounds them.R: Rachel, mother of lament, weep with us. For mothers who grieve in secret, burdened by shame or regret:We ask for healing, mercy, and the embrace of divine compassion.
– Folha de S. Paulo, February 23, 1981 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira I am taking a deep interest in the Polish question and I think the reader should too. It is quite true that for many religious, historical, ethnic, and geographical reasons Poland of itself merits special respect and affection from all Catholics. Consequently, current events there should attract everyone’s attention. But at the present we are led to that conclusion by reasons of an even greater import. For the world, the events in Poland are constituted as a sign of the future. If the unique relationship, which a newspaper has called “the Polish triangle,” between the Warsaw government, the episcopate, and the coalition of workers’ organizations labeled “Solidarity” is successful, then something in communism has changed. Or something has changed in the Church, and therefore, in the world. Something, indeed, that until a while ago was steadfastly deemed immutable. How can I affirm this? Perhaps a metaphor would be …More
Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance sees "different ways" by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”
JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."

ArchBishop Vigano: Only way any rejuvenation of the Church comes about is by stripping the clergy of its finances, good foods, nice autos, and beautiful rectories and homes. Nothing works except pain. Nothing else will bring the Church to its roots.
The seasonal winter sermons of the preacher and proclaimer of the divine Word, interpreter of sacred scripture and most subtle professor, Saint Vincent, confessor of Valencia, of the Order of Preachers, happily begin. [Saint Vincent Ferrer, OP, XIV-XV Century, (aged 69), born: Valencia, Kingdom of Valencia/died: Vannes, Duchy of Brittany, preacher, missionary and logician, ‘Angel of Apocalypse’] St. Vincent Ferrer ~ First Sunday of Advent. Sermon 1 Part one -The theme Mt 21.9 And the multitudes that went before and that followed, cried, saying: Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord," (Mt 21:9). We have prescribed for today's gospel this text from Mt 21. This Sunday is one of the greater Sundays of the entire year, because it is the first Sunday of the Coming (Adventus) of the Lord. Holy Mother Church sets aside the ordinary texts of the office and begins the office of the …More
"Because no human nor angelic creature shall remain there, for all shall come with the king for judgment. The horn or trumpet shall sound, thunder and lightning etc., to the extent that heaven and earth shall shudder. Note. If heavens and earth and the creatures which never have sinned against God are not able to stand up to his coming, what will it be for sinners, who have committed so many sins against God? Then it would be better to be in hell than to see God."
Catholic parishioners in Limerick have urged their diocese to consider stronger representation of women, including on parish councils and finance committees and in senior lay leadership, following widespread consultation.
The Ukrainian people were showing and telling Russia where the conscription offices were located. So Russia can destroy them. I posted about that awhile ago. And RT has mentioned it again in a post I just put up. Some people have died and have been seriously injured by those thugs. It won't come to an end till the last Ukrainian is dead. As long as they kill a lot of Russians. Their only goal! The reported Russian attacks on Ukrainian conscription centers came hours after a large protest in Kiev, said to have been sparked by forced mobilization. The rare mass demonstration was broken up by riot police, who used tear gas to disperse the crowd, according to local media.

Before the meal, a table prayer was recited. As host, Dean Fr. Gerfried Sitar welcomed the guests. During the evening, the clergyman was also awarded the Gold Plaque of the City of St. Andrä.

Baby Knox was born at just 25 weeks. His tiny body and fragile lungs needed time, support, and care to keep growing stronger. But his value was never fragile or questioned. From the moment of his existence, he was made in the image of God worthy of love and protection.
