Kardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich has reopened the parish church Thomas Morus in Munich-Sendling with a Eucharist on Sunday. The renovation project began in 2021 and cost approximately €17.9 million. Works included repairs to the roof, façade, technical systems, and the large stained-glass window at the front of the church. The most significant change is the addition of a parish hall on an emporium inside the church, complete with a kitchenette. This new structure is separated from the church interior by a large glass construction.

Luis Nava, a high school freshman at the International Academy in Michigan, takes to heart that he wants to be ready to answer any questions from his peers but also to better understand his Catholic faith. He began an online newspaper called The Catholic Michigander, where he tackles some of those questions and more. Nava is a parishioner at St. Joseph Parish in Lake Orion, Michigan, and spent his first few years attending school there. He recently spoke to students at the Catholic school about a project he started to help spread the Catholic faith among teens and to help young people understand what the faith is all about. “A lot of the times, if I’m facing questions from classmates that don’t have the same beliefs as me, I want to know exactly what I believe and exactly why I believe it,” Nava said. Learning about his faith became more of a quest after Nava attended a pro-life conference in 2024 at his parish. While he was there, Nava picked up a quote from William Wilberforce that …More

Cardinal Willem Eijk of Utrecht celebrated his first public Mass in the Roman rite on Sunday at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (known as the Grote Kerk) in Oss, the Netherlands. In his homily (video below), he spoke about the Gospel of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Cardinal Eijk recounted an example from the 1950s in the Netherlands. A priest teaching religion at a Catholic school told students that the multiplication of the loaves should not be taken literally, since such a miracle would be impossible. Instead, he explained it as a moral story: people shared the food they already had because they were inspired by Jesus’ preaching about love. Eijk added that this kind of denial destroyed the faith of many Catholics. He recalled that in the 1950s and 1960s the once-strong Church in the Netherlands collapsed, identifying one of the causes as poor preaching by clergy who themselves undermined belief. According to him, the faith of once-convinced Catholics was “…More
"The miraculous multiplication of the loaves was indeed performed by Jesus. (...) God created the universe ex nihilo. If He possessed the power to achieve that, then He is surely capable of multiplying bread in a miraculous manner" (Willem Jacobus Cardinal Eijk)
The integration of millions of Muslim immigrants into Europe is impossible and would change the culture, provoking civil wars, Cardinal Gerhard Müller told EuropeanConservative.com on March 15: "In almost all Muslim countries, Christian communities are oppressed." Politicians and citizens must decide whether they want to be marginalised in their own countries, he said, mentioning an increase in attacks against churches and Christian values. "But it is also our fault," he added, suggesting that immigration is related to falling birth rates. "I remember when I was young, there was harsh politics against the family, matrimony and children. This demographic catastrophe is man-made. Like in China with their stupid one-child policy." Cardinal Müller notes that anti-familial forces have been unleashed upon the population. "It’s a natural feeling to want children if you are married," he said. "It’s against nature and against grace not to." "The state is only there for the common good and …More

Tue Mar 17, 2026 - 12:01 am EDTMon Mar 16, 2026 - 6:20 am EDT (LifeSiteNews) — The saint we have to honor today is the apostle of that faithful people, whose martyrdom has lasted three hundred years: it is the great St. Patrick, he that gave Erin the faith. There shone most brightly in this saint that gift of the apostolate, which Christ has left to His Church, and which is to remain with Her to the end of time. The ambassadors or missioners, sent by our Lord to preach His Gospel, are of two classes. There are some who have been entrusted with a small tract of the gentile world; they had to sow the divine seed there, and it yielded fruit, more or less according to the dispositions of the people that received it: there are others, again, whose mission is like a rapid conquest, that subdues a whole nation, and brings it into subjection to the Gospel. St. Patrick belongs to this second class; and in him we recognize one of the most successful instruments of God’s mercy to mankind. And …

Saint Luke 13:35 Behold, your house is left to youdesolate: and verily I say to you, You shall not see me until the time come when you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. BEDE; you shall not see, that is, unless you have worked repentance, and confessed Me to be the Son of the Father Almighty, you shall not see My face at the second coming.
There are people who will never be financially secure, no matter how big their paycheck gets. And there are those who will eventually build wealth, even if life keeps knocking them down and picking their pockets. Because it’s never actually about the dollar amount; it’s about your mindset. You can blow through absolutely any amount of cash if you try hard enough. There are people who will never actually do the job they were hired to do, even if you pay them top dollar. And there are those who will always see a task through to the end and take pride in their work, even if they aren't making a single dime. Because again, it’s not about the salary; it’s about work ethic. If you’re looking for an excuse, you will always find one. There are people who spend their entire lives complaining about the hand they were dealt. And sure enough, their lives are miserable, even when they have every possible resource to be happy. But then there are those who know how to truly enjoy life, even when …More

Let’s compare the USA to Rome, whose victory in the Cold War is like the defeat of Carthage, and the Pax Romana to the global hegemony of the USA in recent decades. Trump is Caesar, who, like in many Asterix comics, repeatedly falls for various whisperers who promise him victory over the indomitable Gauls. In the latest volume, Bibus Nethanyahus is the most dangerous and malicious of them all. He should have been thrown to the lions in the circus long ago, but has always managed to extricate himself from countless scandals with his ruthlessness and cunning. This is also thanks to his many influential friends in the Senate, the wealthiest merchants of Rome, and his connections to the highest command levels of the Roman army. He also has excellent connections to the highest priests of the Temple of Yahweh in his homeland, who claim to be specially chosen by …
