250 kilometers pilgrimage on foot concludes at Ukraine’s Pochaiv Lavra Monastery Seven days of incessant prayer through 250 kilometers, processing from Kamianets-Podilskyi concluded at the Holy Dormition Monastery in Pochayiv Lavra, Ukraine on 27 August 2026. The massive procession, participated by approximately 40,000 cross-walkers, carrying along 115 miraculous icons, commenced on 19 August from Kamianets-Podilskyi. This traditional Ukrainian pilgrimage had its origins in 1832, when a blind girl named Anna Akimchukova miraculously regained her eyesight when she washed her eyes from the holy spring after praying before the miraculous Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God. Bishop Ángel Javier Pérez Pueyo of Barbastro-Monzón, Spain, has said he would offer his resignation rather than sign a settlement under which the statue of Our Lady of the Angels of Torreciudad remains permanently at the Opus Dei sanctuary. The bishop drew his red line in a public letter on 31 August, ahead of the image’s return to its ancient hermitage on 5 September for the 47th Pilgrimage of the Virgins of Ribagorza and Sobrarbe. That return is temporary. It has been authorized by Archbishop Alejandro Arellano Cedillo, the pontifical commissioner for Torreciudad. After the pilgrimage, the image is due to return to the sanctuary. Bishop Pérez Pueyo’s threat concerns the final settlement: he refuses to accept an arrangement under which the statue remains there permanently and returns to the hermitage only on special occasions. He would "never sign such an unlikely act of plundering your dignity," he wrote, adding he would instead offer his resignation. The dispute has effectively been …More
"Whereas the just, whilst in the flesh, look to God as the end of all their deeds and desires, the wicked look to an unlawful end which turns them away from God. Now the separated souls of the just will adhere unchangeably to God as the end to which they looked in this life. Therefore the souls of the wicked will adhere unchangeably to the end which they have chosen for themselves. Hence, as the will of the just will be unchangeable to evil, so the will of the wicked will be unchangeable to the good." — St. Thomas Aquinas
EWTN is reporting the so-called “Coalition of Catholics Against Antisemitism” (CCAA) has been “tapped by the Government of Israel as part of its latest outreach to American Catholics.” A high-ranking Israeli official, Tammy Ben-Haim, met in May with the head of the CCAA Simone Rizkallah in Washington, DC. Rizkallah previously received funding from billionaire, Jewish activist Paul Singer and is currently affiliated with the “Tikvah Fund.” Rizkallah said in the article Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs wanted to “design a trip specifically for Catholic leaders, [so] it made sense that they would reach out to us.”
Thank GOD For the those who are leaking the truth. But it seems some people are not paying attention to any of it. And remaining firm a supporter of the liar in chief. Of course no one (but the few) believed Trump. Time and time again he was proven a liar. Just like the Strait is open each time. It never was after the attack on Iran. He and his minions are playing with the stock market so they can all get richer than they are. No one is thinking of all the money Trump is Hegseth is causing us. Waste of fuel, planes shot down, ships blown up or damaged heavily, the bases and everything on them. And his lying about making more weapons which we can't do without the rare earth's China holds which they will not trade anymore since Trump destroyed the relationship with China. Such a huge mess he has made and still some still turn a blind eye. They have blood on their hands just like this administration. and a lot of it.

Leo XIV personally intervened to stop VaticanNews.va from using the artwork of Father Marko Rupnik, according to Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes. Rupnik has been accused by numerous women of fornication and sexual, spiritual and psychological abuse. In an interview with Paris Match (August 31), Bishop Micas described a private audience with Leo XIV in June 2025. The pope asked him how Lourdes was dealing with Rupnik’s asymmetrical mosaics and the big black eyes. Leo XIV supported the bishop’s approach to cover the mosaics. Then, Leo XIV mentioned that he had instructed the Holy See’s communications office to stop using Rupnik’s mosaics to illustrate articles. “He is truly very determined on this issue,” Bishop Micas said. Rupnik’s work quietly disappeared from VaticanNews.va in June 2025, shortly after Leo XIV’s election. However, the canonical case against the Slovenian priest remains ongoing and is clearly delayed, even years after the allegations against him became public …More
FromPost tam diuturnastoDignitatis humanae Pius VII —Post tam diuturnas, April 29, 1814 “By the very fact that freedom of all forms of worship without distinction is established, truth is confused with error, and the Church, the holy and immaculate Bride of Christ, outside of which there is no salvation, is placed on the same level as heretical sects and even the perfidy of the Jews. Moreover, by promising favor and support to the sects of heretics and to their ministers, one tolerates and favors not only their persons, but also their errors. This is implicitly the disastrous and ever deplorable heresy which St. Augustine mentions in these words: “It maintains that all heretics are on the right path and speak the truth,” an absurdity so monstrous that I cannot believe that any sect actually professes it.” De Post tam diuturnas à Dignitatis humanae
Ufff thanks be to God He doesn’t do this, because if He would, then no one would be saved, His Divine Mercy is such a strange, huge and delightful calmness for us who can't stop letting Him down.

San Giosuè Patriarca - Festa: 1 settembre XII sec. a.C.

Folha de S. Paulo, August 24, 1978 Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira October 23, 1978: the historic embrace between Pope John Paul II and his great friend Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Archbishop of Warsaw and Primate of Poland At the first preparatory meeting of the conclave, Cardinal Wyszynski, Archbishop of Warsaw, reported that 300,000 Poles — including 7,500 university students — planned to walk in a pilgrimage to the famous shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa to pray to the cardinals for divine guidance, so the Church might select a new pope suited to the difficult conditions of the time. A loud round of applause from the other cardinals celebrated Most Rev. Wyszynski’s words. There were many reasons for this. First, the initiative’s markedly spiritual character rests and refreshes minds saturated with the socio-economic obsession that has recently invaded the Church. Furthermore, it is especially impressive that religious fervor in Poland ignites in such a large crowd the courage needed for …More
modernism synthesis of all heresies Poison of JPII The Oath Against Modernism Pope Pius X - 1910 THE OATH AGAINST MODERNISM To be sworn to by all clergy, pastors, confessors, preachers, religious superiors, and professors in philosophical-theological seminaries. I . . . . firmly embrace and accept each and every definition that has been set forth and declared by the unerring teaching authority of the Church, especially those principal truths which are directly opposed to the errors of this day. And first of all, I profess that God, the origin and end of all things, can be known with certainty by the natural light of reason from the created world (see Rom. 1:19), that is, from the visible works of creation, as a cause from its effects, and that, therefore, his existence can also be demonstrated: Secondly, I accept and acknowledge the external proofs of revelation, that is, divine acts and especially miracles and prophecies as the surest signs of the divine origin of the Christian religion …More

A ruling by the Superior Court of Quebec in Canada finds that Cardinal Marc Ouellet was “falsely accused” of sexual assault in connection with a class action against the Archdiocese of Quebec, and he will receive $100,000 in damages, which he will donate to organizations combating the sexual abuse of Indigenous peoples.
Former Curia Cardinal Marc Ouellet has won his defamation lawsuit against Paméla Groleau. She had accused him of sexual assault. Quebec Superior Court Judge Martin Castonguay found her allegations unfounded and ordered her to pay Ouellet C$100,000 (€62,000) in damages. Judge Rejects Accuser’s Account Paméla Groleau, a former pastoral worker, accused the former archbishop of Quebec of inappropriate touching during several encounters between 2008 and 2010. Her main allegation concerned a priestly ordination in 2010, where she claimed Ouellet ran a hand down her back and touched the upper part of her buttocks. Ouellet denied the allegation. At trial, Groleau acknowledged that this was the only incident she considered sexual assault. The judge found her account “neither credible nor reliable,” pointing to changes and inconsistencies in her testimony. Castonguay also noted that Ouellet was holding his episcopal crozier when the alleged contact was said to have occurred. Recklessness Amounting …More
IT is also part of the on-going war against the Church; when you think of a cleric from another religion, do you think of sexual abuse? Do you think that's because it doesn't happen, or because they own the media?
France Requires Life Insurers to Cover Assisted Deaths: France’s new assisted-dying law requires life insurers to pay benefits when a policyholder dies through euthanasia. This applies even when the policy normally excludes suicide during its first year. It also applies to contracts signed before the law took effect. After repeated Senate opposition, the National Assembly approved the euthanasia law on July 15. The Constitutional Council upheld the contested provisions on August 14. The law was promulgated on August 18.
