God is a Woman: The Feminist Theology of Sister Simona Brambilla

A year ago, the news surprised the Catholic world: on January 6, 2025, Pope Francis appointed the first woman to head a Vatican dicastery. The Consolata missionary Simona Brambilla was named to oversee more than 600,000 religious sisters and brothers (including 128,559 priests) worldwide.
No less unprecedented was the appointment of a pro-prefect, a position not previously provided for by curial norms in this case. Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, SDB, assumed this role, whose performance remains opaque.
The major secular media outlets cheered the news: «opening» toward women, «pink revolution,» «female empowerment» in the Church. The clichés delighted Francis, who dreamed of «demasculinizing» the Church, although he had already commented, without fear of falling into inconsistency, that appointing a woman to a dicastery would be something merely «functional.»
The new prefect had illustrious predecessors, such as Cardinal José de Calasanz Félix Santiago Vives y Tutó, OFM Cap. (1908-…

Raclette in Belgian Church: On 13 December 2025, a “giant raclette” dinner was held inside the church of Sainte-Julienne in Verviers, Belgium. The event was organized by the local scout group, with tables and a festive meal set up in the nave. On 17 December, an open letter was published by Yves Willemaers, former president and secretary of the church council of Sainte-Julienne. Addressed to Bishop Jean-Pierre Delville of Liège, the letter denounced the event as a misuse of a consecrated church. The author invoked Catholic doctrine and canon law, arguing that holding a secular meal inside a church constituted a profanation. The open letter circulated online and sparked discussion, yet no public response came from the bishop or anyone else.

Maduro’s capture wasn't about oil

The image of Nicolás Maduro in US custody has inevitably resurrected the ghosts of foreign policy past. For the reflexively cynical observer, the narrative writes itself: a Republican White House, a Latin American strongman, and the world’s largest proven oil reserves. As with Iraq in 2003, the slogan of American imperialism and its ‘blood for oil’ foreign policy circulated on social media before the dust had even settled over Caracas. ‘The overnight strikes on Venezuela,’ declared the Guardian, and Trump’s neo-imperial ‘declaration that the US would run the country and sell its oil, have driven another truck through international law and global norms’. This is a comfortable, nostalgic critique, harking back to the heady days of 2003. It is also dangerously wrong.
Maduro was not merely a socialist pariah; he was a strategic landlord
To view the dramatic defenestration of the Venezuelan regime as a resource raid is to misunderstand the fundamental shift in American grand strategy.…

EXPLOSIVE: Bishop Hicks’ Vicar General Reportedly Attends Chancellor’s Gay ‘Wedding’

Introduction
In December, we reported that Bishop Hicks’ diocesan chancellor, Robert Salvato,
was ‘married’ to another man. Salvato was appointed Chancellor by Hicks in 2021. As Chancellor, Salvato was responsible for advising Hicks on issues related to canon law and recording ecclesiastical acts, decrees and dispensations issued by the bishop.
As if the diocesan Chancellor getting ‘married’ to his boyfriend was not enough of a scandal, we now have reports that Fr. Richard Smith, the Vicar General for the diocese of Joliet, attended the ‘ceremony.’ An eyewitness has told us that Smith was definitely in attendance. Additionally, two other sources positively identified Smith as the man featured in the above photo from the ‘wedding’ (additional photos of the event available here). We contacted Fr. Smith on December 28, 2025 asking him to comment on these allegations but have not received a response.
This is an especially explosive allegation because, as Vicar General, Smith is …

"4, 5. And you have left your first love: remember whence you have fallen. He who falls, falls from a height: therefore He said whence: because, even to the very last, works of love must be practised; and this is the principal commandment. Finally, unless this is done, He threatened to remove their candlestick out of its place, that is, to disperse the congregation."

“From the Second Chapter
2. I know your works, and your labour, and your patience. In the first epistle He speaks thus: I know that you suffer and work, I see that you are patient; think not that I am staying long from you.
And that you can not bear them that are evil, and who say that they are Jews and are not, and you have found them liars, and you have patience for My name's sake. All these things tend to praise, and that no small praise; and it behooves such men, and such a class, and such elected persons, by all means to be admonished, that they may not be defrauded of such privileges granted to them of God. These few things He said that He had against them.

Yes, to the Vatican returning Indigenous artifacts to Canada but leave residentisl schools out of it

On December 6, 2025, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops released a statement about the 62 Vatican artifacts returned to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. Here's what the bishops said:
(Montreal) – In celebration of the Jubilee of Hope declared by Pope Francis, Pope Leo XIV gifted 62 cultural artifacts that had been part of the Vatican Museums’ Anima Mundi collection to the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, for immediate transfer to Indigenous communities in Canada. Among the items is a rare, century-old kayak from the Western Arctic and other artifacts of cultural significance to Inuit, First Nations and Métis communities.
Leaders of the Assembly of First Nations, Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami and Métis National Council were in Montreal to receive the gifts when they arrived in Canada. Sex-selective
abortion in India reveals a tragedy that exposes the hypocrisy of the feminism that claims so much to "defend" women.
Approximately 46 million girls have been aborted in India in the last 50 years solely because they were female; this terrible phenomenon is driven by cultural issues where families prefer male children.
In matrimonial customs, women are relegated to an inferior role, making the cost of raising a girl seen as an unwanted obligation. This leads to forced abortions, where mothers are pressured by husbands and in-laws. Here in India, violence begins in the womb; Families see daughters as an economic burden due to traditions such as dowry and male inheritance.
This silent genocide not only ends millions of innocent lives; it is something that progressive feminists prefer to completely ignore. While they shout in defense of unlimited abortion in the West as an "absolute right," they remain silent in the face of the extermination of unborn …

1 John 4:11-18
“God so loved us. (…) God remains in us”
“God loves us.” Every meditation must begin with: “God loves us,” lead to, and conclude with: “God loves us.” Otherwise, where does the meditation come from and lead to?
God is Love, God is in us.

Fear is a distancing from trust in God, a distancing from God’s love.

Trump made the prime disclosure when he flagged his intention for the U.S. to take over Venezuela and rebuild its infrastructure:
“We’re going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition…We’ll run it properly. We’ll run it professionally…We’re going to rebuild the oil infrastructure…”
The preceding is 100 proof Revelation of the Method. The criminal has declared to us his iniquitous intent.

Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe: No one can simply say ‘I’m a woman’ – our biology is fundamental

The leading Catholic on trans rights, an astonishing meeting with Pope Francis and what happened inside the secret conclave to elect Leo XIV
In a small, lamplit room at Blackfriars Hall in Oxford,
Father Timothy Radcliffe, England’s newest cardinal, is talking about books. “I love Charles Dickens,” he enthuses. “I think he’s one of the greatest, most imaginative people ever to write. And I love The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene.”
The literary references are typical of Timothy Radcliffe. It is easy to forget that this urbane and cultured man is one of the most important contemporary religious figures in the country. Perhaps the lightness with which he holds his religion is the Dominican way – he is a Dominican friar and former master of the global Dominican order. Or maybe it’s the lingering patrician in him. The grandson of a baronet, he was brought up within the old, upper-class Catholic world of families whose pedigrees predate the formation of the Church of England.
