During yesterday’s Papal General Audience, the music ensemble in St. Peter's Square entertained the older generation with 1970s songs: Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and Dancing Queen by ABBA. The latter celebrates nightlife.
Ist „Dancing Queen“ ein passender Song für eine allgemeine Papstaudienz? Was meint ihr dazu?
Islamists attacked the parish of St. Louis de Montfort in Meza, Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, on April 30. According to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), militants entered the parish in the afternoon and destroyed the church, parish offices, missionaries’ residence, and kindergarten. Buildings were set on fire and the historic church was reduced to rubble. The parish was founded in 1946 and was one of the main Catholic landmarks in the region. Bishop António Juliasse of Pemba said civilians were captured and forced to listen to speeches during the attack. The Cameroonian missionaries serving the parish were not present when the attackers arrived and were unharmed. There were no confirmed deaths during the April 30 attack. The insurgency in Cabo Delgado has continued since 2017 and has caused thousands of deaths and displaced more than one million people. Church officials say at least 118 churches and chapels have been destroyed during the conflict. Picture: ACN, #newsQveepjzxvl

Selected quotes from the book A Wider View of the Second Vatican Council by Archimandrite Boniface Luykx. Republished in English by Angelico Press, Brooklyn, NY, 2025. Archimandrite Boniface Luykx (1915–2004) was a Belgian Premonstratensian canon regular, professor, and liturgical scholar. In the 1940s and 1950s he was among the leading figures of the Catholic liturgical movement and taught for many years at the University of Notre Dame’s Summer School of Liturgy. From 1960 to 1971 he served as a missionary in Africa, where he founded the Monastère de l’Assomption and taught at Lovanium University in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo). Beginning in 1959, he was a member of the Preparatory Commission for the Liturgy and later served as a liturgical consultant and expert (peritus) at the Second Vatican Council, as well as one of the authors of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy (Sacrosanctum Concilium). After the Council, he became a member of the Consilium …níos mó
Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira Let us pass from the general principles set forth in our theological considerations* to a great historical example, the question of separation of Church and State. Prior to the French Revolution, a united regime of Church and State existed in all the Catholic nations of Europe. In the Protestant states, the most powerful sects were united to the Crown. As a result of the secular principles of the Revolution, separation of Church and State was gradually introduced throughout the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Today, the State is secularist in most of the West. Where it is not, the privileges of the official church are virtually meaningless. This immense transformation, the natural and typical fruit of a tendency towards laicization that has made itself progressively felt in the various sectors of Western culture, in society, and in life itself, was inherently prejudicial to the Holy Catholic Church. As faith is the root of all virtues and virtue is the …níos mó
Hopefully, slowly but surely, we American Catholics will realize that separation of church and state is a terrible thing. Unfortunately, at an early age we were taught, in Catholic schools, that it is a blessing. It is actually a curse.
Vatican Synodal Reports Assaults Holy Scripture – Bishop Strickland: The report by the Vatican's synodal group on homosexuality “is deeply alarming and stands in direct contradiction to the constant teaching of the Catholic Church”, writes Bishop Joseph Strickland: “To suggest that the sin does not consist in the same-sex relationship itself is not merely confusing language. It is a direct assault upon Catholic moral doctrine and upon the words of Scripture itself.” Monsignor Strickland adds that this atmosphere of doctrinal instability is part of the reason why the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X argues that extraordinary measures are necessary in our time.
The destruction of doctrine under the language of “discernment,” “listening,” & “lived experience” is one of the gravest spiritual dangers of our time. Truth is not determined by experience. Truth is revealed by God An Emergency in the Church - Pillars of Faith
Although he led and was at the center of the heinous debacle of lies, treachery and betrayal perpetrated against John Henry Westen, at least Strickland is willing to speak out against sodomy…..small mercies.
Today a few young mates swore their loyalty to the Pope Always such a moving ceremony… even if sadly this time we couldn’t experience it outdoors May the Lord Jesus guide and protect these young men who came to the Vatican carrying so many hopes, dreams and aspirations from the Facebook page of Silere Non Possum
This afternoon, 28 new recruits of the Pontifical Swiss Guard swore allegiance to the Roman Pontiff, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The ceremony takes place every year on May 6th, the date in 1527, when 147 Swiss Guards died defending Clement VII during the Sack of Rome.
Cardinal Tucho Fernández repeated to VaticanNews.va on May 6 that the German “blessing guide” for homosexuals and other couples in mortal sin does not have Vatican approval. The pro-homosexual cardinal is a soft-porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. He stated that a letter he sent in November 2024 regarding an earlier draft of the German bishops’ blessing guidelines remains fully applicable to the final version approved in April 2025. The German bishops’ document in question is titled Blessing Gives Strength to Love. They falsely claimed Vatican support for their guidelines. The Vatican’s release of the November 2024 letter was “in agreement with Pope Leo XIV.” “That letter is the only and final response,” Tucho told Bishop Stephan Ackermann of Trier, chairman of the German bishops’ liturgy commission, during a meeting in the Vatican on November 12, 2025. Tucho explained that although the final German text differs somewhat from the original draft …níos mó
By refuting the formal ritual of the pseudo-blessing of sodomitic concubines—devised by the schismatic German apostates—Tucho reaffirms his own sacrilegious and "informal" pseudo-blessing for sodomitic concubines; while it might appear that he is taking a step backward, in reality he is moving forward by reaffirming his own pseudo-blessing. Leo Affirms Francis’ Blessing Of Gay Couples
The homosexual Tucho defends the sacrilegious and informal "blessing" of homosexual concubines—all while using the Germans as a scapegoat to create the impression that he is defending the Faith, given that the latter reveal the true face of apostasy and seek to formalize this sacrilegious pseudo-blessing of homosexual concubines. Bergoglio employed this very same cunning and diabolical strategy in Argentina to support the law regarding civil homosexual "pseudo-marriage," while simultaneously shielding his apostasy behind the argument that such civil homosexual unions could not be compared to the Sacrament of Matrimony. Bergoglio Supported Same-Sex Civil Unions in Argentina
Synod.va published on May 5 the final report of Study Group number 7 on the selection of bishops: “In the selection of a bishop, it is necessary to consider, among other qualities, his ‘synodal competencies’.” (page 3) At least, the document also mentions Catholic criteria: “Among the qualities sought in a bishop are moral integrity, doctrinal orthodoxy, pastoral sensitivity, leadership ability, and the capacity to administer the Church’s goods.” (page 3) The main idea of the report is expanding lay influence in bishop selection: “The cathedral chapter… finance council… lay council… youth and the poor should also be convened.” (page 4) The report proposes that, when a diocese is vacant, a committee be established to work with the Apostolic Nuncio, consisting of priests, consecrated religious, and laypersons. (page 5) Informants should include women, youth, academics, ecclesial movement members, the poor, marginalized persons, and representatives of Indigenous or minority communities. …níos mó
Since Rome has lost the faith and is the seat of the Antichrist, it is worth noting that the synod of apostates—homosexual activists and worshippers of Pachamama—consults with non-believers, apostates, and enemies of God and of the Church.

From DA: "I am a practicing catholic. And I need to say something that's going to make a lot of people uncomfortable. Nigeria, the Sahel, India, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, hundreds of Christians have been murdered this year alone. Churches burned to the ground, pastors kidnapped and killed. Leo flew across continents, gave media interviews, posted viral messages and had three Cardinals appear on 60 minutes in what felt like a coordinated response. Since Pope Leo XIV assumed the papacy, one of the most closely watched questions has been how he would continue Pope Francis’ legacy on climate change. Dubbed by some as the “climate pope,” Francis made care for creation central to Catholic social teaching in the 21st century. In Laudato Si’, he reminded us that “everything is connected,” and that environmental degradation, human relationships and economic systems are intertwined. He propelled that message further with Laudate Deum, arguing that climate change is not only a scientific or political issue, but a moral and spiritual one. Francis made a profound and unmistakable imprint. His papacy elevated climate change into a defining moral issue, positioning the church as a global voice urging both political accountability and personal responsibility. Leo has not retreated from that position. Rather, he is propelling it forward. Continue reading at National Catholic Reporter Post Views: 57
The characteristics of the Antichrist: Ecologist (worship of Pachamama), ecumenist (to worship other false gods, in violation of the First Commandment), pacifist (false peace with those who reject the Prince of Peace—for with a kiss, the sign of Peace, Judas betrayed Christ).
The anti-white culture of blame has become a business model. In the UK, Green Party “reparations commissioner” Antoinette Fernandez is demanding billions in compensation for the slave trade. Yet, according to reports, she descends from the Obas of Lagos, rulers historically linked to major slave trading operations. Historians claim one ancestor owned 1,400 slaves, while another reportedly brought slaves back from Brazil to build properties in Lagos.
For Karl Marx's birthday, here's G.A. Cohen, the funniest Marxist philosopher — and quite possibly the funniest philosopher — of all time doing his impression of a British philosopher. This is one of his lesser-known, but is also one of his funniest, bits.
