1er juin : Bienheureux Jean-Baptiste Vernoy de Montjournal ktotv Prêtre d'Autun et martyr sous la révolution française (+ 1794) Dans la baie devant le port de Rochefort, en 1794, le bienheureux Jean-Baptiste Vernoy de Montjournal, prêtre d'Autun et martyr. Chanoine de Moulins, au moment de la la Révolution française, il fut, en raison de son sacerdoce, déporté sur un bateau négrier. Atteint de maladie pédiculaire, il mourut relégué sous une écoutille, comme un lépreux, sans perdre sa patience et sa douceur. Béatifié le 1er octobre 1995 par Jean-Paul II. (Mk 11,27 28) Die aufgebrachten Hohenpriester stellten Jesus zur Rede weil er den Tempel in Jerusalem gereinigt hatte. Doch Jesus will viel mehr, nämlich die Tempel unserer Seelen reinigen, und zwar von allem Schmutz und Ekel der Sünde, von aller Gottesferne und Gottverlassenheit. Deswegen sagte er zu Seinen Jüngern vor der Himmelfahrt: „Mir ist alle Vollmacht gegeben im Himmel und auf der Erde. Tauft alle im Namen des Vaters und des Sohnes und des Hl. Geistes.“ (Mt 28,18).
