FBI agent who initially investigated fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis has resigned nytimes.com/…26/01/23/us/fbi-agent-ice-shooting- … The FBI agent who initially began working with the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension to investigate the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Good has resigned from the bureau, two sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Soon after the agent opened the civil rights investigation, she was ordered to reclassify it as an investigation into an assault on the officer. The FBI blocked the BCA from participating in the investigation. The New York Times first reported the resignation. The agent’s resignation comes as the agency has undergone another purge of seasoned FBI agents across several states, multiple sources familiar with the departures told CNN. Some of the people who are being pushed out were confronted after the bureau conducted a review of the FBI’s internal messaging system and discovered instances when they made negative comments about President …More
Sarco, a euthanasia device invented by Philip Nitschke. Wikimedia Commons, Ratel, CC-BY-SA-4.0 The inventor of the notorious “suicide pod” is back with a new macabre spin on the original device: a version designed for couples to die together. Unveiled in 2019, the Sarco Suicide Pod is a portable, 3D-printed, one-man capsule that can be flooded with nitrogen from inside, after the user answers one survey to be told the pod’s location, then another set of questions to confirm his or her intent to die. “We want to remove any kind of psychiatric review from the process and allow the individual to control the method themselves,” inventor Philip Nitschke of euthanasia advocacy group Exit International has said. “The machine can be towed anywhere for the death. It can be in an idyllic outdoor setting or in the premises of an assisted-suicide organization, for example … It’s very comfortable … There is no panic, no choking.” The pod was only used once so far, with the 2024 death of a …
01/24/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. Such a question will certainly outrage many people. And rightly so. Except that I have no intention of murdering people—I merely want to analyze the methods used for this cruel act. Let us put ourselves, albeit with gritted teeth, in the shoes of these “philanthropists” and draw up a plan to reduce the human population. What would need to be planned? Perhaps introduce potassium cyanide or botulinum toxin into the water supply? That’s probably a stupid idea. Not only would it be difficult to implement due to the amount of poison required, but it would also be impossible to carry out worldwide and too easy to detect by simply analyzing the toxin content in tap water. So perhaps we could introduce substances into people’s bodies that have different effects over a longer period of time? In doing so, we would have to loudly proclaim from all available sources that this is the only safe and effective way to ensure the health of ourselves and our …

NYTIMES: An Unhinged on the Magic Mountain Jan. 21, 2026 By Bret Stephens Opinion Columnist, reporting from Davos, Switzerland nytimes.com/2026/01/21/opinion/trump-davos- … Decades before this Swiss village became famous as a pilgrimage site for global elites attending the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum, it was best known as a destination for well-to-do invalids seeking respiratory relief in the crisp Alpine air. It was that reputation that brought Thomas Mann to Davos (where his wife was convalescing) for a three-week visit in 1912, inspiring his great novel, “The Magic Mountain,” published 12 years later. The book is set in the years before World War I, and one of its aims is to address the moral and psychological unravelling of European civilization on the eve of its catastrophe. At its heart lies a long argument between two fiercely held and fatally flawed worldviews. The first is represented by the character of Lodovico Settembrini, an earnest but naïve pacifist and …More

Almighty and eternal God, through the intercession of Saint Isidore, as I use the internet let my eyes see only what is pleasing to you, let my hands guide me to only that which glorifies you, let my mind think of only that which draws me closer to you. I ask this in the name of your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Internet Prayer for Youth
How serious is pride? Pride, the Mother and Queen of the Vices Saint Thomas is clear in defining the overarching vice or inspirer of all the seven capital vices. He defines it first as a disordered love for personal excellence in excess of right reason. Then, as a special sin, pride leads to a lack of subjection to God’s rule, or commandments, and the undue estimation of one’s abilities, thereby leading a person to raise himself above God’s providential design for him. Some of Sacred Scripture’s most important warnings deal with pride. I will list a few. Also in the link I provided. I am going to start with Mary's Canticle inspired by The Holy Ghost. He hath shewed might in his arm: he hath scattered the proud in the conceit of their heart. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble. The proud man overestimates himself, and believes himself the source of his own excellence. The virtue of humility, which disposes us to acknowledge our limitations, …More

The traditional shoemaker to the Popes presented Leo XIV with two pairs of white shoes on August 29, writes RomeReports.com. However, Leo XIV did not accept them, insisting that he only wanted black shoes. The shoemaker returned to work and recently delivered a new pair in black. Adriano Stefanelli, an Italian craftsman, has made the papal shoes from John Paul II to today’s Pope Leo XIV. It all began with John Paul II after he fell ill briefly during a Via Crucis. Stefanelli decided that the best way he could help was to make him a pair of shoes. He says his quality never changes, even for popes: only the finest materials are used. It is the small details that vary. John Paul II wanted rubber half-soles, Benedict XVI preferred all leather, and Francis wore embroidered slippers with a symbolic design. For Leo XIV, Stefanelli followed Benedict's model — in black. #newsBqncvgecak

This commendable effort by CUP has brought national attention to this important issue. This week Complicit Clergy uncovered additional funding related to other Catholic organizations under the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program (CFDA 93.676). When we include those other Catholic organizations, the total amount of federal funding to all catholic NGO’s is eye popping. The following analysis includes all Catholic organizations that received either prime grants or subawards related to CFDA 93.676 totaling $690 million between 2009 and 2024. To ensure accuracy, we excluded subawards granted to Catholic organizations by other Catholic organizations. As CUP originally reported: An estimated 500,000 unaccompanied migrant …
Shockingly, there has been no concerted effort by the Bergoglian nor the Prevost "synodal church" to track down the unaccompanied migrant children [UAC]. Previously reported are these Four Catholic NGOs who “served” the unaccompanied alien children across the border involving the formerBergoglio headed church; and as well is the silence regarding the missing children by the presently headed Prevost "synodal church": ● Catholic Charities USA: They provide immediate shelter, food, and long-term support like legal aid and health services, directly managing the day-to-day care for many unaccompanied minors. ● United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB): Acts as a coordinator for the UAC program, managing funds and programs, including shelter services and legal representation, often subcontracting to Catholic Charities. ● Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC): Focuses on legal aid, not shelter, offering support to unaccompanied children in navigating immigration laws. …More
In Kurmin Wali, Kaduna State, Nigeria, gunmen attacked three churches during Sunday services on January 18, and kidnapped about 177 Christians. Although residents reported the abductions immediately, Nigerian authorities first denied they occurred. After public pressure, police confirmed the kidnappings and said security forces were deployed to find the victims.
Nigerian police have CONFIRMED that 177 Christians were KIDNAPPED from their churches last weekend .The confirmation comes after the police originally DENIED that the kidnappings had occurred. They have since denied the denial, calling it a 'measured response'
One supposes that if the abnormal is permitted to exist without confrontation to it, it becomes, de facto, the new 'normal'. Otherwise his reference to "normality" makes no logical sense.
