Kontakion of the Encounter of Our Lord O Christ God, who through Your birth have sanctified the virginal womb and have blessed the arms of Simeon, You have come today to save us. When wars prevail, keep Your people in peace and strengthen our public authorities in every good deed, for You alone are the Lover of Mankind.
Modern Idols, Ancient Warnings The prophet Zephaniah calls for humility and repentance, warning of the coming “day of the Lord” when God will intervene in human history. This day can be both good and bad, as seen in the destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians. The readings emphasize the importance of humility, truth, and goodness, urging us to prepare for Lent by identifying and eliminating idols in our lives and strengthening our prayer life. Fr. Rockefeller Used the AMA to Take Over Western Medicine by Makia Freeman --- The Flexner Report was a very useful tool commissioned by oli magnate John D. Rockefeller. Rockefeller had made a massive fortune with Standard Oil, and he was setting his sights on gaining a monopoly in the drug and pharmaceutical industry. However, first he had to get rid of the competition, which consisted of natural non-allopathic healing modalities – naturopathy, homeopathy, eclectic medicine (botanical and herbal medicine), holistic medicine, etc. --- Enter Abraham Flexner on the Rockefeller Payroll Rockefeller paid Abraham Flexner to visit all the medical schools in the US at that time. He released the so-called “Flexner Report” in 1910, which called for the standardization of medical education and concluded …More
I don't wanna hear about what the rich are doing I don't wanna go to where the rich are going They think they're so clever, they think they're so right But the truth is only known by guttersnipes Garageland, The Clash
Another lesson for us is that several of the links in the above article written by Makia Freeman have gone missing; and this is the signs of our times in which we can also discern for ourselves that TRUTH is being eradicated.
Dear child, let's sit together like Jesus' friends did on that sunny mountain. Jesus saw all the people and climbed up high, sat down, and taught his disciples (that's his closest followers) some super special secrets to true happiness. These are called the Beatitudes—like God's promises of joy for those who love Him His way. They're not about toys or candy, but about hearts full of goodness that lead to heaven! Jesus' Happy Promises (The Beatitudes) Jesus said: "Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." This means happy are people who aren't proud or full of themselves—they know they need God like a little bird needs its mommy. They're humble inside, so God gives them His kingdom, a forever home in heaven! "Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land." Happy are the gentle ones who don't get mad or bossy, like a kind puppy who waits patiently. They control their tempers and trust God, so one day they'll have the best "land"—God's wonderful world …More
You may remember the stories about how college students, even English Lit ones, had lost the ability to read novels. Nicholas Dames has taught Literature Humanities, Columbia University’s required great-books course, since 1998. He loves the job, but it has changed. Over the past decade, students have become overwhelmed by the reading. College kids have never read everything they’re assigned, of course, but this feels different. Dames’s students now seem bewildered by the thought of finishing multiple books a semester. His colleagues have noticed the same problem. Many students no longer arrive at college—even at highly selective, elite colleges—prepared to read books. This development puzzled Dames until one day during the fall 2022 semester, when a first-year student came to his office hours to share how challenging she had found the early assignments. Lit Hum often requires students to read a book, sometimes a very long and dense one, in just a week or two. But the student told …
Today is the Sunday of the Beatitudes. We post the reflection of the day from the Magnificat by Father Jacques Philippe. He's a Member of the Community of the Beatitudes and a great spiritual director. It's titled, "A Portrait of Christ and His Disciple." The Beatitudes, one might say, are not only the most profound revelation of the mystery of God but also a complete treatise on spiritual life. They show what we are called to be as Christians, what it really means to live the Gospel. They describe true human and spiritual maturity. A portrait of Christ, they are also the portrait of the mature Christian in Christ, a son or daughter of the Father who is free in the Spirit. They sum up the most perfect realization of human existence. A pathway to humanization, they are also a way of fruitfulness, showing us how to bear fruit that lasts, how to spread love and inspire others to true life…. The Gospel isn’t a legal code superimposed on life (and perhaps making it more difficult or …
31.01.2025 A POPE WHO INTERPRETS ALL THE CREEDS, COUNCILS AND CATECHISMS IRRATIONALLY AND SO DISHONESTLY – AND DOES NOT DENY IT- CANNOT BE APOSTOLIC AND MAGISTERIAL ON THIS ISSUE. There is no denial from the Vatican Dicastery for Communication over the last few months. The Holy See Press Office does not say that Pope Leo interprets Vatican Council II with a Rational Premise in harmony with an ecclesiocentric Roman Missal. With the Rational Premise Archbishop Vigano and Cardinal Cupich will have the same ecclesiocentric interpretation of Vatican Council II.The SSPX would be aligned with the National Catholic Reporter . With the Rational Premise (invisible people are invisible) Massimo Faggioli and Taylor Marshall have a conservative interpretation of Vatican Council II. The interpretation of Vatican Council II by the Italian daily newspapers IL Messaggero and Avvenire are in schism when they choose the Irrational Premise. So there is an objective error in their reports on the Council. …More
Steve Bannon audibly says, “THAT WAS GOOD,” as Jeffrey Epstein wraps up their interview with a smile. The final 50 seconds grew tense as Bannon asked Epstein whether he was the devil himself. But once Epstein clapped his hands and said, “Okay, we have to go,” Bannon replied, “Okay, good. That was good.” Weird response.
