IDK, I’ve been veiling for over 70 years whether I went to a Novus Ordo church or not. In Rome I was the only one wearing a veil. Sad. Our tour guide told me they don't do that any longer. I told him I veil out of love for the Father and not for any other reason.
It is true that women should cover, but, not because women are intrinsically "holy," rather, "holy women" cover out of reverence for Heirarchy ie: their "head" (men) and the Angels that attend Sacred Liturgy. 1 Corinthians 11.
Abolishing the compulsory veil in the conciliar church was as idiotic an idea as abolishing the compulsory Index of Prohibited Books.

1 Cor 11:5 "But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered, disgraceth her head..."
