@philosopher However, there will be an FSSPX episcopal consecration with or without Vatican approval, because it is vitally necessary. In my opinion, this is being prepared by Fr. Pagliarani, the superior, in his recently published statement.

I agree. I would like to see their irregular canonical situation restored, and perhaps with a traditional ordinariate, however, I am not to hopeful.

@philosopher Traditional ordinariate:
1. Look at the case of Opus Dei. They exist in this form, or rather, they slowly ceased to exist. They are being destroyed right now.
Do we need this?
2. Then all the Protestant and ambiguous madness and heresy of the Second Vatican Council (starting with the Lutheran Novus Ordo Missae) would have to be accepted.
Do we need this?
3. Then they could only open a place of Holy Mass in a diocese where the diocesan bishop allows it (I organized two places of Holy Mass because there was a need for them and we did not ask for permission). Look how the bishop is banning the Christ the King Institute from more and more places.
Do we need this?

Is this a warning to the SSPX of what will happen if they try and consecrate a new bishop on their own without permission from the Pope?
