Sad enough, most peoples believe that the short prayer to Saint Mickael is efficacious enough while it's not at all. For instance, a Modernist priest that asked us to recite it at the end of the mass told me publicly that he doesn't fear God when I spoke to him about the long version that should be said meaning that he doesn't care at all... On the French version of Gloria, a Modernist called Jean de Roquefort also encourages to recite the short version couldn't ignoring that it has no efficacity, otherwise he would not do so.
