Any man attempting to model what all Christian men should aspire to be in a society which negates this model is worthy of at least some recognition for having made the noble effort to do so.
The deafening silence from Prevost and his bishops has shown us whose side they are on. For fear of shaming sodomites their silence and cowardice should speak volumes to us all. They are not shepherds, but wolves. I have more respect for a non Catholic laymen then any "Catholic" bishop. If they do release a statement it is only because they are getting a little heat.
Even though he was not a Catholic, Charlie was more Catholic than the Vatican and most bishops. He was logical, orthodox, sincere, kind and truthful, which is more than I can say about the majority of Catholic clerics.
