No, quella cosa di cui parli [che il male riesce a penetrare nella tua vita] è una sciocchezza. Ci sono anche lupi che si sono convertiti e quel tipo di persone sono “letali”. Quindi, ripetendo: ci sono i lupi che vogliono attaccare, ma ci sono anche i lupi convertiti - che sanno come cacciare - ed insieme a loro ci sono i cani da pastore per mettere in fuga i lupi cattivi…così Egli ci permette di farci avanti come fece Davide…

We have to be above the "status quo" of this modern day Christianity which I’m telling you Prosperity Gospel is garbage. They say: the Bible wants you to have beautiful things, man! That’s fine, if you can hand it all back. The thing that I have in this life: my wife, my children, family that’s it, with God, to me. I love beautiful things, I love Lamborghini and all that but hey listen, if I have to give it back, fine, done, its over!...
…Conosci la storia del profeta Samuele? Dio gli dice che dalla casa di quest'uomo uscirà colui che sarà il re d'Israele, così va ad incontrare tutti i figli di Iesse e il Signore gli fa capire che nessuno di questi è l’eletto. Come lui, scenderò e ucciderò questo Golia. Ma David quanto era profondo! “Nessuno parla di mio Padre in questo modo! Nessuno!”… Lo amava così tanto! Riesci ad immaginare? Il nostro buon Dio, non è abbastanza amato da noi; manderebbe volentieri i Suoi eserciti per proteggerci, ma non lo amiamo abbastanza. Dobbiamo essere al di sopra dello "status quo" di questo cristianesimo moderno con il suo sciocco “Vangelo della prosperità”. Chi lo sostiene afferma: “la Bibbia vuole che tu abbia cose belle, amico!”…va bene, se puoi restituire tutto! Ecco ciò che ho in questa vita: mia moglie, i miei figli, la famiglia! Loro per me sono tutto, assieme a Dio. Amo le cose belle, amo la Lamborghini e tutto il resto, ma ehi, senti, se devo restituirlo, va bene, lo faccio e basta, chiuso!...

Jim Caviezel: Sure! On the way up to the hill, he said (to me): you are a dead man. And my response to him was: praise be to God! I didn’t want to live to see what was going to come from that movie anyway; it might be my only chance into Heaven. People can say: “Jim, you just don’t know the Bible.... get out!”. It is what you do! “Faith without your works is dead “(James 1). So many people say, but they don’t do.
Sicuro! Mentre salivamo sulla collina [il diavolo] mi disse: “sei un uomo morto”. E la mia risposta a lui è stata: “sia lode a Dio!”. In ogni caso non volevo vivere abbastanza per vedere cosa sarebbe venuto da quel film; avrebbe potuto essere la mia unica possibilità di andare in Paradiso. La gente potrebbe dire: “Jim, a malapena conosci la Bibbia, lascia perdere!”. E invece quello che fai, conta: “La fede senza le vostre opere è morta” (Gc, 1). Tante persone dicono, ma poi non fanno.
