Officially: Russian Orthodox Condemn "Fiducia Supplicans"

The Russian Orthodox issued a formal document on 25 March condemning Francis' homosexual propaganda piece "Fiducia Supplicans".

The condemnation is entitled: "On the Orthodox Attitude Towards the New Practice of Blessing 'Couples in Irregular Situations and Same-Sex Couples' in the Roman Catholic Church".

It was written under the authority of Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeev of Budapest, Hungary, at the direction of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow.

The text states that Francis departs from Christian moral teaching: "God's love for humanity cannot be the basis for blessing couples in sinful cohabitation".

It says that "Fiducia Supplicans" presents a one-sided view of "God's love" by ignoring the fundamental concepts of sin and salvation.

The document argues against Francis's equation of homosexual (contra naturam) and sexual concubinage.

The Orthodox "allow" divorcees to enter into immoral second unions [those Bergoglio wants to "bless"] and even consider them to be "marriage".

@Tony Smith The Orthodox are schismatic but not heretical. They have all of the valid 7 sacraments and essential Catholic teachings except the papacy.

Ah, the fascinating insights of ‘On the Orthodox Attitude Towards the New Practice of Blessing ‘Couples in Irregular Situations and Same-Sex Couples’ in the Roman Catholic Church,’ authored by none other than Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeev of Budapest, Hungary, under the watchful eye of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow. It’s quite the spectacle: condemning a Catholic document by Fernandez and signed off by Francis on one hand, yet hitting the mark with sensus fidelium on the other. Who knew ecumenism could be so subtly deep and true? It’s like having our own protective shield against the ‘Francis effect,’ courtesy of those ever-watchful helpers of the guardians of tradition from the outer realms of Catholicity.

Lol. When even the heretics have to call you out for perversion.
