Heroic Cardinal Sarah Met Benedict - Lying Gänswein Rebutted

Cardinal Sarah just wrote on Twitter.com that he met on January 17 with the former Benedict XVI because of "incessant polemics" against the Ratzinger/Sarah book on celibacy.

Sarah calls these polemics "nauseating" and "lying."

He continues, “With Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, we were able to see how there is no misunderstanding between us. I came out of this beautiful conversation very happy, full of peace and courage.”

The word “misunderstanding” was used by Archbishop Gänswein to justify the removal of Benedict's name from the book cover.

Gänswein pretended that Benedict "didn't see" the book before January 13.

However, Sarah corrected him revealing that he sent the full manuscript to Benedict on November 19 and showed him personally the book, including the cover, on December 3.

Catholics must understand and accept that the promotion of sacrilegious holy communion by any priest incurs automatic excommunication.(Council of Trent) Bergoglio (aka “pope” francis) has done that and is therefore EXCOMMUNICATED.

Writing books is not heroic. Anathematizing Francis would be heroic.

You go to the mouth of the lion a confront it, like Sarah does, daily. When you have done that for 10 days, I will bdlieve your bravado

Evil, very bad men with huge power. You go and confront that, like Sarah does. Then, talk about the hero the way you do

To mattsixteen24. Bergoglio (aka “pope” francis ) was excommunicated automatically under the provisions of the Council of Trent when he approved communion for practising adulterers. It is doubtful he was ever a valid pope but currently an excommunicated catholic can not be a pope.
mattsixteen24
@Thors Catholic Hammer If Francis was excommunicated then Paul VI was also excommunicated for suppressing the Latin mass which was codified and to be held in perpetuity (Quo Primum).
Thors Catholic Hammer
No.A pope can not bind a future pope on a mere liturgical matter with the dire penalty of excommunication. A council like Trent or a pope can bind the entire church on a matter of grave dogmatic truth concerning what is to be believed concerning the essence of the sacraments.. Pope Paul vi was not excommunicated in my opinion.
mattsixteen24
Suspending the Latin Rite Mass is not a "mere liturgical matter." Plus, removal of a pope is an act of administration.

To Mattsixteen You said "Suspending the Latin Rite Mass is not a "mere liturgical matter".
But the mass is entirely a liturgical matter and the rites of mass are decided upon by the pope and the bishops. A pope can not bind every future pope on a matter of liturgy and those who claim that Pius V could so do are incorrect.

@Thors Catholic Hammer You said "mere liturgical matter." I was quoting you. "First, in issuing the solemn decree, the pope is carrying out the decrees of a dogmatic council. Second, the Mass contains much essential doctrine (remember: lex orandi legem credendi statuit). Third, the Traditional Roman Rite of Mass is not an exceptional rite, but the universal rite of the Church, being the rite of the See of Rome. The pope was simply restating the 16-century Sacred Tradition of the Church in this case."

"By declaring Ex Cathedra that Quo Primum can never be revoked or modified, St. Pius V infallibly defined that Quo Primum is of itself irreformable." --Fr. Paul L. Kramer, B.Ph., S.T.B., M.Div., A Theological Vindication of Roman (Nazareth, India: Apostle Publications, 1997).

"According to the common opinion of Catholic theologians throughout the centuries, any pope who "wished to overturn the rites of the Church based on Apostolic Tradition would become a schismatic, not to be obeyed". --Francisco Suarez (1548-1617), S.J., "Most Exalted and Pius Doctor," De Charitate, Disputatio XII de Schismate, sectio 1
catholicapologetics.info/…/qprimum.htm

I never said the traditional Latin mass was abrogated. I said it was suspended. You are right that it wasn't abrogated, because it can't be. St. Pius V declared it Ex Cathedra. Paul VI forbid it's celebration. The novus ordo is a bastard rite and is not Catholic. Luther's service was more Catholic than the novus ordo. Novus ordo resembles a protestant service. It is not Catholic.

Either way, you can't condemn Francis without condemning the other VII popes. Even Pius XII made some errors. Francis is the evolution of the VII religion. Bendevacantist totally ignore the fact that Benedict is a total modernist.

"Regarding the second goal, shortly after the Council Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger wrote these lines:

'From today’s crisis, a Church will emerge tomorrow that will have lost a great deal. She will be small and …. will have to start from the beginning. She will no longer be able to fill many of the buildings created in her period of great splendor …. Contrary to what has happened until now, she will present herself much more as a community of volunteers ….

As a small community, she will demand much more from the initiative of each of her members, and she will also certainly acknowledge new forms of ministry and raise up proven Christians who have a calling to the priesthood. The normal care of souls will be made by smaller communities, in social groups with some affinity. ….'"

The basic issue is papal authority. Any pope has full authority over all liturgical rites.
If he wants to change them he can. Popes prior to Pius x11 did so.

The mass itself developed organically since the Last Supper and to claim that Pius V could freeze the mass forever in its then form in the 16th century is deeply irrational.
F rancis is not a pope since the Chair of St Peter remains occupied by Pope Benedict.
If I am wrong on that then F rancis is not a pope because he is a public formal heretic and such can not be a pope.
mattsixteen24
The novus ordo wasn't an organic development and no the pope doesn't have the authority to suppress the Latin Rite Mass. Also, a pope cannot pray with heretics, schismatics, pagans, etc.

How many faithful strong voices do we hear? Prayers and more prayers, fasting are needed. This is the biggest crisis in the Church. Be the shields for these strong clergy. What's coming is beyond belief. Why else would there be such diabolical (yes, diabolical) reactions to Cardinal Sarah's and Benedict XVI's book?
Thors Catholic Hammer
These diabolical reactions emanate from the now excommunicated antipope francis.
This excommunication was incurred when antipope francis approved Holy Communion for unrepentant adulterers.
The glorious and famous Council of Trent is crystal clear on that.
