Director: Aleksandra Piotrowska "I Paul, in chains for the name of Christ wish to relate to you the trials besetting me daily, in order that you may be inflamed with love for God, and join with me in his praises. The prison here is a true image of everlasting hell: to cruel tortures of every kind - shackles, iron chains, manacles - are added hatred, vengeance, calumnies, obscene speech, quarrels, evil acts, swearing, curses, as well as anguish and grief. But the God, who once freed the three children from the fiery furnace, is with me always; he has delivered me from these tribulations and made them sweet, in the midst of these torments, which usually terrify others, I am, by the grace of God, full of joy and gladness, because I am not alone - Christ is with me". Georgia - Building on the ruins (short film)
Watch our latest film about the country Georgia.
Twenty years after gaining its independence, Georgia is still only beginning its hard road to recovery. In 1991, a newly independent Georgia emerged, battered by the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Once an affluent part of the USSR, the nation was soon to suffer deteriorating relations with Russia and the Georgian economy worsened. This economic collapse was mirrored by a moral collapse.
For the Church today, Georgia is missionary territory to be explored. While the struggle against the moral and spiritual void left by communism seems near impossible, every person and every life saved means saving the whole world.

Greetings fellow pilgrims - Only yesterday afternoon an Assyrian Christian recounted to me the story of the kidnapping of a 3-year old child. The parents paid the ransom and a delivery arrived soon after at their doorstep - a platter with the head of the child on a bed of rice. A beheading is the calling card of the Sunnis; and the favoured signature of the Shias is a “Black & Decker“ to the head. At a local church tonight, Iraqi Christians (Syriac Catholic) will gather to remember their relatives who were slain in the Cathedral of Our Lady of Deliverance - may the souls of the departed rest in peace. The sad reality is that Christians are being persecuted by zealots in Israel (Jews), India (Hindus), Pakistan (Muslims) and Sri Lanka (Buddhists). I thank God that us Christians have put away the firelighters for the time being. A man of letters once gave me good advice before reading any secular book - ALWAYS check the background of the author, their publishing house, and any back cover …More

Director: Magdalena Wolnik With the reopening of the L’viv Seminary, an extraordinary chapter in the life of the Greek Catholic Church in Ukraine is accomplished. For over 70 years of communist rule wherein no religious training was possible, the seminary opening is a symbol of the freedom of the Greek Catholic Church in Ukraine. What today is reality, belonged to yesterdays dreams and hidden hopes raised from the underground. The 25-minute documentary considers the story of the reconstruction and reopening of the L’viv seminary, this symbol of new life.
