Saint Padre Pio, priez pour nous ! (le 23 septembre, demain, est sa fête)
À partir du premier juin prochain, sera renouvelée de manière permanente l’ostension des reliques du corps de saint Pio de Pietrelcina pour la vénération.

À partir du premier juin prochain, sera renouvelée de manière permanente l’ostension des reliques du corps de saint Pio de Pietrelcina pour la vénération.
Ce sera le préfet de la Congrégation pour les causes des saints, le cardinal Angelo Amato, qui présidera la célébration eucharistique marquant le début de l’ostension, qui aura lieu le 1er juin prochain à 11heures en l’église Saint-Pio de Pietrelcina. À cette occasion, les collaborateurs du cardinal Angelo au Dicastère iront en pèlerinage à San Giovanni Rotondo pour vénérer la dépouille du Saint. La célébration eucharistique sera concélébrée par Mgr Michele Castoro, archevêque de Manfredonia – Vieste – San Giovanni Rotondo, Mgr Marcello Bartolucci, archevêque secrétaire de la Congrégation pour les causes des saints, plusieurs prêtres, capucins et diocésains.
Le corps de saint Pio de Pietrelcina restera dans le même endroit, c’est-à-dire dans l’interstice de la plinthe centrale de l’église inférieure dédiée au Saint, gardé dans une urne de verre.
Cette décision a été prise à la suite de nombreux appels téléphoniques, courriels, lettres et requêtes continuelles des pèlerins qui viennent à San Giovanni Rotondo et qui veulent prier de nouveau devant la dépouille du vénéré capucin.
Les frères et l’archevêque ont jugé opportun de réaliser cette initiative justement en cette Année de la foi, sûrs de pouvoir renouveler les bienfaits spirituels suscités par l’ostension précédente (du 24 avril 2008 au 24 septembre 2009) et, en particulier, pour éveiller dans les cœurs de nombreux pèlerins la foi, vertu dont Padre Pio a été un témoin exemplaire et continue à l’être à travers ses écrits, sa spiritualité et surtout sa cohérence de vie.

Se renovará, a partir del primero de junio próximo, la ostensión permanente de las reliquias del cuerpo de San Pío de Pietrelcina.
La Eucaristía de inicio de la ostensión será presidida por el prefecto para las Causas de los Santos, el Cardenal Angelo Amato, el próximo primero de junio a las once de la mañana en la iglesia San Pío de Pietrelcina. Con él llegarán en peregrinación a San Giovanni Rottondo para venerar al santo todos los colaboradores que prestan servicio en el Dicasterio. Acompañarán en la concelebración Mons. Michele Castoro, arzobispo de Manfredonia – Vieste – San Giovanni Rotondo; Mons. Marcello Bartolucci, arzobispo secretario de la misma congregación y numerosos sacerdotes capuchinos y diocesanos.
El cuerpo de San Pío de Pietrelcina permanecerá en la cripta protegido con una urna de vidrio.
Se maduró esta decisión dando respuesta a las numerosas llamadas telefónicas, correos electrónicos y cartas recibidas y a la continua petición de los peregrinos que llegan al santuario, expresando el deseo de poder rezar nuevamente delante de las reliquias del venerado capuchino.
Los hermanos y el arzobispo han considerado oportuno dar paso a este iniciativa en el marco del Año de la fe, con la certeza de poder renovar los beneficios espirituales suscitados por la precedente ostensión (24 de abril 2008 – 24 de septiembre 2009), y en particular, para despertar la fe en el corazón de los numerosos peregrinos que ven en el Padre Pío un testigo ejemplar con sus escritos, su espiritualidad y sobre todo por su coherencia de vida.
